Our clinic provides nursing services to support our physicians. These services include injections, suture & staple removal, ear flushes, and adult and childhood vaccinations. Please refer to the information below regarding these services.
Preparing for an Ear Flush
Make sure your GP has seen your ears prior to booking with the nurse.
Use a dropper or syringe (can get from pharmacies) to put oil into the ears.
Put 2-3 drops of oil (mineral oil, olive oil, earol, etc) into the ear or ears needing to be flushed every night 3-5 days prior to your appointment.
Use a cotton ball with either oil or vaseline on it and put it in your ear to make sure the oil does not come out.
This will be a 20 minute appointment booked.
